Capxchange – Investment GUI Design

In this project we were tasked with the creation of GUI design for the project investment monitoring control panel of Hermes Capital Advisers. Client insisted on concise, yet modern looking design with a wide row of useful features that needed to be integrated in it.

We started the first stage of the GUI design with accomplishing detailed market research and thorough competitive analysis to outline the prevailing trend for this type of business. We have looked through the websites of the competitors and outlined the main features that are considered sought after and well liked by the end users. After we received and processed the information, we have created a prototype. Prototype is a crucial part of the GUI design as it allows designers and client to discuss the project at the backbone stage, exchanging ideas and determining the direction of the project. After this prototype was reviewed and approved by the client, we started our work on the GUI design. During our work on this project we also accomplished icon design and HTML/CSS coding.

As a result, our client received a convenient and intuitive GUI design of control panel, which fully met his requirements. New design has contributed to the increase of the overall clients’ turnout and conversion rate.
